Job Description

The Medical Lab Scientist position is responsible for performing and analyzing complex medical laboratory tests and procedures which require the exercise of independent judgment with minimal supervision.

We will fill this position as a MLT or MLS

MLT pay range: $22.87 -$34.31
MLS pay range: $32.63 - 48.95

Work Schedule :

40 hrs weekly / 1.0 FTE; Evenings 2:45pm - 11:15pm, Monday through Friday; Every fourth weekend 2:45pm - 11:15pm.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology or a related science from an accredited college or university.
• Current certification as Medical Technologist (MT), Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS),
• or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) by the National Board of Registry American
• Society Clinical Pathology (ASCP), American Medical Technologist (AMT) or equivalent.
• If not present at hire must have within one year of start date.
• Must have valid driver's license and meet all criteria required under Lakeview's
• Automobile Liability Guidelines.
• Knowledge and skills sufficient to provide technical instructions and communicate and advise other departments on clinical laboratory procedures. o Basic leadership capabilities and good organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-2 years' experience
