A Polisher will be responsible for maintaining, organizing, and stocking all supplies and materials for service, such as cleaning and polishing glassware, utensils, and bar equipment to uphold LDV Hospitality standards of presentation.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Polish all assigned work according to LDV Hospitality standards, meet established production goals and turn times. Continue to improve and diversify skills.
• Assist in the wash line area to ensure timely completion of all work in the department.
• Adapt easily to new responsibilities including the capacity to work independently or in a group environment, allowing for the flexing to all areas of Distribution, providing the necessary support to fulfill business needs. Advise management on concerns regarding work processing, capacity and merchandise quality.
• Work safely at all times by consistently following safe work procedure for your position as well as all safety procedures required at your worksite. Promptly report all incidents and safety issues to your supervisor.

Qualifications

- Deliver timely and courteous service to LDV Hospitality guests in adherence to our company policies and procedures
- Ability to speak, understand, read and write in English
- Must have basic math skills
- Maintain friendly, helpful and positive attitude at all times
- Strong customer service background
- Ability to have an outgoing, friendly disposition for guest relations
- Adherence to company, state, and county sanitation standards
- Strict adherence to posted schedule and clock in/out at times
- Attendance to company meetings and training seminars as required
- Responsible for training and developing new employees to LDV Hospitality’s standards of service
- Adherence to company uniform and grooming policies
- Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned by management
- Adhere to all HR policies and procedures

Education, Experience, Knowledge Requirements

- Minimum of 2+ years' experience as a Polisher in a similar caliber establishment
- A high school education is required

Physical/Special Requirements

- Ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to bend, stoop, stand and perform extensive walking for 8-10 hours a day
- Mobility and manual dexterity appropriate to staff in the Polisher position

Work Environment

- Ability to withstand a high volume of business and the movement, noise and temperature extremes associated with that volume
- Ability to perform essential job functions under pressure, maintain professionalism when working under stress
